Annual Report: A Year of Impact Across Rural Kenya

1 min read

Every year we sit down to write this report, we are reminded of how much is possible when a community decides to invest in itself —
and when people far away choose to believe in that investment too.

2023 was a year of both delivery and learning. We completed the
Clean Water Access Initiative, reaching over 1,200 people across two counties. We launched our third vocational training cohort,
graduating 34 young people with certified skills. And we expanded the scholarship programme to include girls from three new sub-counties
where dropout rates remain stubbornly high.

We also made mistakes. A programme we planned in a third county had to be paused after
community consultations revealed our original design was not fit for the local context. We listened, redesigned, and will re-launch in
2024. That is what transparency looks like in practice.

Thank you to every donor, partner, and community member who made this year
possible.
